For high-end eating and drinking, the Hilton’s series of wine dinners may be the best bargain in town. Executive Chef John Reis has just released the schedule for winter and spring.
Also at the Hilton, the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association and the Pennsylvania Tourism and Lodging Association are hosting the first Pennsylvania Food and Beverage Conference. The keynote speaker will be Walter Scheib, former White House chef, who will recreate an official Head of State dinner on the 7th. On the 8th, there’ll be an Iron Chef Competition lunch.
Both events are open to the public. See the PRA website for registration info.
Hi,
I looked at the schedule for the Hilton Dinner Series, but even after searching, I can’t find email contact information for the chef, or the Hilton.
I was interested in having them post their dinner schedule of event on our events website. Perhaps the chef may drop by this entry and take a moment to get some free promotion through PaMidstate.com?
Send me your e-Mail and I will send you our schedule of wine dinners
Thanks

John,
I teach life skills at harrisburg high school and was wondering if you or another chef of yours would be able to come into my classroom to teach a cooking demonstration on saftey in the kitchen as well as preparing a simple easy meal with my students. We have a kitchen in the room. Stove, oven, microwave. It would be a great experience for my students. They have not had any chefs in the classroom to show them how to cook correctly. If you could let me know that you be great.
Thanks.
