CORRUPTION IN OUR GOVT? OH COME ON BOYS. NOT IN PA. LOL. YOU KNOW, I ONLY FOUND 10 OF THE OVER 500 RESTAURANTS IN MY HOMETOWN OF CORAOPOLIS/MOON TOWNSHIP. JUST GOES TO SHOW WE HAVE THE BEST POLITICIANS MONEY CAN BUY !THINKABOUT THAT NEXT TIME YOU VOTE REPUBLICAN!

Harrisburg fired the only health inspecter they had, from what I heard.

I think Harrisburg City has it’s own jurisdiction over restaurant inspections and that is why they are not listed.

It would be nice to get a report from downtown, but good luck getting that from the city. You might want to assign one of the blogHarrisburg watchdogs to try and hunt that one down for you otherwise they might start yelling “conspiracy!”

Besides, if the report did contain any negative information, I doubt the mayor would want to bring bad press to the crown jewel we call Restaurant Row.

Supposedly, there are 23,000 restaurants in the database, according to the article I read this morning from the Post-Gazette. It may be that Dauphin county is included in this sentence from the article:

“The online database, run by the state Department of Agriculture, does not contain inspection reports for restaurants in Allegheny County, however, or a number of other locales across the state that handle their own food service inspections.”

They did mention a restaurant in Lancaster, though, so you may want to try some over there.
